Common questions
Can I still use the $2-a-day flat rate?
No. The temporary flat rate ended after the 2022 tax year. From 2023 on, employees use the detailed method with a signed T2200.
What if my employer won’t sign?
Without a signed T2200 you can’t claim employee home office expenses. Claimwise keeps your records ready in case that changes, and our help centre has a note you can share with HR.
Which plan do I need?
